- I've just finished a Ph.D. at an American University and have come to do a post doc at FSU in Jena, Germany. I like science, plankton, talking to strangers on planes, being outside, coffee, NPR, dogs, and peanut butter. I dislike things that are overly sentimental and the walk between my bus stop and my apartment.

What are "graders and sorters"?

According to the US Department of Labor:
"Graders and sorters grade, sort, or classify unprocessed food and other agricultural products by size, weight, color, or condition and discard inferior or defective products."
Now don't we all feel better informed.
